It’s dusk. The sun is setting. Sometimes as the shadows are taking over the landscape it can change the way we see things.
Look up at the skyline and the rooftops. Look at the roofs, the chimney pots. In Venice no roof or chimney pot ever seems the same.
A medieval, renaissance mismatch of styles which somehow fits together perfectly.
