Reflections on Venice is created by Ruth and Nigel.
Through writing, photography and video, we share a city we have known across many visits… from our favorite places walks, sharing our experience of the city in different seasons, and that special mulit-sensory atmosphere that continues to draw us back.
Ruth brings together Venice’s stories, curates the literary lagoon, music , art and experience of mindful Venice.
Nigel contributes photography, film and an enthusiasm for the city’s routes and visual details.
Slow Serenissima draws on this shared knowledge to create thoughtful, more individual ways of experiencing Venice.
We don’t live in Venice, we wish we could but … We’ve visited many times, so many times we can’t remember how many. The city is our go to, special place and we hope our unique expertise is to share our knowledge as experienced, wise tourists.
